Dec. 30th, 2018 10:37 pm can people less with the natural/unnatural divide? like that is some enlightenment thinking right there, some real liberal bullshit, there is no distinction between these things. humans are organic lifeforms that evolved biologically on a planet full of ecosystems; anything a human or group of humans could possibly do is 'natural' depending on your definition. like of course there are terrible things? but you can find records of gorillas kidnapping their conspecifics' young and beating them to death, or wolves eating their siblings, or ducks raping other ducks in midair. it's not like nature is some pure and unspoiled - let alone objective - state we used to live in or could reach again. nature isn't anything, it's just a word we sometimes use to mean the opposite of technology and sometimes use to mean 'plants'.
